I am working on full chip verification of a SRP/RPR Engine which
supports ethernet, SONET, RPR and SRP frame formats. The verification
environment that we are currently working on uses a frame formatter
that generates a frame format depending upon the configuration
mentioned in the test case. As and when the frame formats change or a
new frame format support is incorporated in the chip, the environment
needs to be modified which may call for changing ~8000 test cases. Can
anyone suggest a methology for generating an adaptive verification
environment, adaptive to any changes in the frame formats and protocol
support? |
