Do you know any one who uses VCS with TestBuilder? Synopsys does not
encourage people to go this route because TestBuilder is from Cadence.
But I want to use TestBuilder since it is free and since it works
well. But I also like VCS. Thanks for helping. |

We experimented with using TestBuilder with VCS while porting the
TestBuilder library to the Windows platform. We did not encounter any
problems under either Windows or Solaris (the two platforms we worked
with). If you do have any problems you can try using our TestBencher
Pro tool, which provides a graphical interface for launching the C++
compiler, building the dynamic TestBuilder shared library/dll file,
and then launching the Verilog simulator with the correct commands for
running the simulation. TestBencher can also generate the TestBuilder
test bench code from graphical timing diagrams. The windows port of
TestBuilder is available at www.syncad.com. |
