Hi,

I'm new to this forum, and also new to using Specman.
I'm looking for a good specman textbook.
Any recommendation? Thanks.

There are two texts I would recommend:

For books specifically on 'e' not from verisity you have 1 choice currently...

Design Verification with e by Samir Palnitkar
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0131413090/qid=1075742293//ref=pd_ka_1/002-5659126-1926431?v=glance&s=books&n=507846
I won't comment on the book because I have not read it completely yet...

The 2nd is:
Writing Testbenches - Functional Verification of HDL Models
by Janick Bergeron

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0792377664/qid=1075742431//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i7_xgl14/002-5659126-1926431?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

This book is excellent overall and the best and most comprehensive text yet written about verification of digital logic. It contains examples in 'e', vera, and HDL's and I consider this a must read for anyone interested in verification. Although the book is not exclusively written about 'e' it does explain some of the unique features of 'e' and has many examples. Highly recommended...
