The DAC User Track is dedicated to designers, tool flow and methodology developers, and consultants. It provides an excellent opportunity to showcase
design results or novel tool usages. DAC wants to hear from the design community. Any design with interesting challenges or task that requires significant manual design work is a good topic for submission. A script which was required to solve a particular problems may be appropriate. This year (if enough content is received), DAC would like to allocate part of the User Track for a Designer's Forum to hear specifically about problems facing today's designs. Like the rest of DAC, the User Track now includes a dedicated category for the rapidly-growing area of Embedded Systems and Software.

In contrast with the full-length papers required by the research track, the User Track only requires a 2-page extended abstract. If accepted, you do not need to prepare a paper--only a poster is required. Authors of the top-rated abstracts will be invited to submit presentations for review. If accepted, you will have the opportunity to present a talk and a poster during a regular User Track session.

You can learn more about the User Track at http://dac.com/usertrack. I've also attached a publicity flyer that is suitable for printing or e-mail distribution. The submission deadline is Thursday, January 17. I hope that you will consider participating this year.

Thanks,
Avi
